Eating Like Rasulullah (SAW) Everyday

the eating habit of our Beloved Rasulullah (SAW),
from  the book Shamaa-il Tirmidhi with the commentary by Shiekul Hadith Ml Muhammed Zakariyyah Kandhelwi   there chapters on the food of Rasulullah (SAW).

“O Allah, make my love for You the most beloved thing to me, and Your displeasure with me the most fearful thing to me, and instill in me a passion for meeting You & when you have given the people of the world the pleasures of their world, make the coolness of my eyes (pleasure) in worshipping You. Aameen Thuma Aameen”

Breakfast

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “I advise you to drink honey.”

Preparation:  Use a full table spoon of honey along with a glass of water (200ml).
Steer until the honey dissolves totally in the water before usage.

Benefits:
- Awaken the entire digestive system, from mouth to intestines.
- obtain a sufficient amount of energy required for the daily activities by supplying the body with salt, minerals and the vitamins.
- Mixes the order of the water molecules with that of the honey so the whole drink becomes beneficial. This method is used in the modern treatments named “treatment with water” (or hydropathy) where the water is enriched with the needed substance that the body needs.

Dates and Milk...
Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Whomever starts his day with seven pressed dates will not suffer any poison or magic”

Preparation: Soak 7 dates into a glass of milk. To be taken around noon.

Benefits:
- Milk contains vitamins and minerals that fruits have.
- Pressed Dates help the liver resist toxic elements using the anti-toxic or antibiotics that the date contains.
- Pressed dates help the body get rid of the harmful chemical elements that the body has to deal with, like the lead that a high rate of it in the body can cause renal failure.

Lunch:

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “use olive oil in your food and for massage for it’s from a blessed tree”

A piece of bread made of barley, a table spoon of olive oil and few drops of apple vinegar.

Benefits:
- Olive oil resists fat in the body.
- Olive oil prevents from skin cancer and bone cancer.
- Olive oil dissolves cholesterol.
- A daily spoon of Olive oil can treat the problem of fatty liver.
- Olive oil can treat and prevent from arteriosclerosis and weakness of memory.

Rasulullah (SAW) said:
“Allah blessed vinegar for it was part of prophets diet.”

Benefits of Olive oil with vinegar:
-Olive oil helps in the increase of beneficial fat (high in density), and decrease the proportion of harmful fat (low in density), which reside on the wall of arteries, causing intransigence.
-Vinegar helps the body get rid of the harmful fats by turning it into a beneficial element that is used in internal generation of body power.

Dinner:

Rasulullah (SAW) said: “Whomever skips the dinner meal his body weakens.”

The dinner meal should contain a piece of bread made of barley and a glass of milk. Dinner helps the large intestines fermenting food and benefiting from some of its vitamins that results from the process of fermenting. Like a vitamin that prevents the body from bleeding.

Medical benefits in prophetic diets:
Rasulullah  (SAW) had the habit of eating carrots, dill, parsley.

-Benefits of Carrots:
Carrots is scientifically proven to be one of the most important anti-oxidation tool. It helps prevent from cancer and aging diseases.

-Benefits of Dill and Parsley:
Dill protects the body from the formation of stones on the gallbladder with its ability to resist cholesterol, as 70% of the stones and appear in the gallbladder happens because of Cholesterol.

-Benefits of Parsley:
Parsley protects the body from the composition of urine tract stones.

-Benefit of Pomegranate:
Anas bin Malik (RA) narrated that Rasulullah (SAW) said,
“There is not a pomegranate which does not have a pip from one of the pomegranate of the Garden (of Jannah) in it.” (Abu Nu’ aim)

Ali (RA) narrated Rasulullah (SAW) said,
“Pomegranate and its rind strengthen digestion (stomach).”

Some of the benefits of the fruit include that it has antioxidant, antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.

In alternative medicine, it has been used to treat diabetes, heart disease, and cancer.

Extract of pomegranate has been shown to fight against staph, salmonella and some kinds of strep bacteria.

In the dental field, it has been found to inhibit the formation of the bacteria that causes plaque, aid in healing after periodontal procedures and reduce signs of chronic periodontitis.

In a 2004 study by the Iran National Nutrition and Food Technology Research Institute, type II diabetes patients significantly reduced their cholesterol levels by consuming pomegranate juice concentrate daily…

“O Allah! Indeed I ask of You, sound health, chastity, trustworthiness, good character and contentment on whatever is decreed. Aameen Thuma Aameen”

How the Bible Led Me to Islam: The Story of a Former Christian Youth Min...

Joshua Evans  also knowns as....  Yusha Evans

He was born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina in a very conservative Christian home. In his early teens he became heavily involved in the church near his home and in Young Life, a non-denominational youth oriented organization with the intention of becoming involved in the ministry of teaching and preaching. He intended to enroll in Bob Jones University, a world-renowned Bible College in his hometown upon graduating high school, but in the summer of 1996 his life changed. Upon studying the bible from cover to cover and realizing many things were askew, and a lot of what he believed his entire life was not in line with what his research found, he left Christianity and went in search of the truth. After many twist and turns, ups and downs and after looking at the many world religions searching for the tangible proof of the right way of life he encountered a Muslim, and was given a Qur’an. After reading the Qur’an cover to cover he accepted Islam in the winter of 1998.

Yusha (Joshua) Evans Currently works as a full-time lecturer and caller to Islam, as well as teaching workshops that have taken him all across the globe. He is the founder and co-founder of two Islamic television stations in North America as well has appeared on many Islamic stations throughout the world. He has studied under numerous teachers and scholars in the various sciences of Islam and is a Phycology major. He is currently in Minneapolis Minnesota studying under Shaykh Waleed Al-Menesse, one of the worlds foremost Scholars in the Qur’an and its various sciences. He also is a multiple discipline Black belt holder and runs a martial arts academy in Minneapolis.

    In his own words:

    (Taken from a newspaper interview)

In what faith were you raised?
I was raised in Greenville, S.C. with a very strict Methodist upbringing.

How involved were you in Christianity?
I was actually going to a small Bible college in Greenville through our church and actually had an intention to enroll in Bob Jones University. My intention was to become a minister or a missionary. I also had interest in becoming a Bible scholar, and I was learning to read the Bible in Hebrew and Greek.

When did you convert to Islam, and why?
It was in December of 1998. After reading the Bible maybe six or seven times, cover to cover, analytically, I began to realize there were a lot of inconsistencies, contradictions. This confusion led me to leave Christianity altogether and I started searching other religions, Buddhism, Taoism – every kind of “ism” that’s out there – and none of them seemed to have a clear truth. One day I ran into a Muslim. He invited me to a Friday worship service and when I saw Muslims praying it was almost like a light went off in my head. I asked for a copy of the Quran. I read it cover to cover in one week, and that was enough.

How difficult was the decision to become a Muslim?
The decision was not very difficult. The difficulty came after the decision.

Did your family have difficulty accepting your conversion?
My old-fashioned grandmother – I was raised by my grandmother – it was hard for her to digest. And my mother, who is a Baptist, and my father, he’s a Christian and a freemason, it was not easy for him. But it was harder for my extended family, many of whom are involved in politics in South Carolina. It was people trying to talk me out of it and not so much an open condemnation, but you could feel the cold shoulder of the family.

How exactly does one convert to Islam?
If you believe in your heart that there is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, then you must make something called shahada – open testimony, an open declaration. You do that before anybody who can be witness to this. I did it at a Muslim brother’s home late in the night. There’s nothing like a ritual that you have to go through.

How much has Islam changed your life?
After I left Christianity I started heading down the wrong road, being 17 years old and being confused by the world. Islam put me back on a right perspective and even my family sees it has made me a much better and a much better-rounded person than I ever could have been.

Has your conversion changed your understanding of yourself?
I don’t feel it’s changed my understanding of myself. But I finally feel I have made a real connection with something greater than myself. I feel with Islam that a connection has finally been made with the creator, and when you feel a connection like that, there’s no way it cannot change you.

Do you see your adopted faith as the one true religion, and would you recommend it to anyone else?
I absolutely would recommend it – not as the one true religion separate from everything else, but as the only true religion the creator has ever given to humanity almost every religion has claimed some form of truth in it. But Islam is the only religion that has contained its originality and its truthfulness over its 1,400-year span. We believe it’s the same religion preached since Abraham, since Adam, because God is not someone who changes his way of life for humanity.

How Quran leads way to Science

Scientific observation introduces man to the mysteries of creation, and ultimately,
to Gods eternal knowledge, wisdom and power.

As stated by Albert Einstein, "science without religion is lame",
which is to say, that science, unguided by religion, cannot proceed correctly,
but rather, wastes much time in achieving results, and worse, is often inconclusive.

Islam is a religion of reason that encourages science. Watch this film to see how the Quran leads the way to science by calling on people to reflect upon and examine the signs of creation around them.
